In celebration of Earth Day and continuing Formosa 2’s long-standing commitment to local communities and environmental conservation, Formosa 2 partnered with the "Miaoli County Local Culture Promotion Association" on April 25 to co-host the "Intertidal Breeze Cycling Tour." Centered around the concept of combining education with entertainment, this event led families on a low-carbon, eco-friendly cycling journey through the Zhunan coastal forest and along the Zhonggang River, allowing them to enjoy the sea breeze while deeply exploring local ecology and green energy development.

The Zhonggang River has nurtured the development of the Zhunan region. On the day of the event, participants rode along the comfortable "Miaoli Jhonggang River Bike Path", taking in the beautiful scenery along the way. The cycling team also visited Guanyidu Park, a historical hub for north-south transportation, to listen to the history of the Zhunan coast, giving participants a deeper cultural connection to the land.

To root the concept of ecological conservation in the next generation, the event featured professional ecological guided tours. The cycling team rode to the river mouth where fresh and salt water meet, leading parents and children to observe mangrove ecosystems, purple crow butterfly habitats, and intertidal zones rich in waterbirds and unique species of shrimp and shellfish. Through lively and engaging explanations, the event perfectly combined outdoor recreation with nature learning, establishing rich coastal ecological knowledge for the public in an entertaining way and helping them deeply appreciate the importance of maintaining ecosystem biodiversity.

In addition to promoting natural ecology, the cycling tour also integrated the concepts of "green energy and sustainability." Guided along the coastline, participants were able to gain a deeper understanding of the advantages of the Zhunan coastal environment and learn about the current development of local coastal green energy.
